Personal

Having owned and trained German Shepherds since I was 13 I now have Radler who was born in June 2017. He is a Sable German Shepherd Dog and one of the nicest temperament dogs I have ever owned loving people and other dogs. I live in Timperley and following redundancy in January 2020 I am now able to put my many years experience to work as a full time professional dog trainer. I have 2 grown up children, two grandsons, one who is 9 and the other 4 and a new granddaughter born in January 2022. I particularly enjoy passing on my knowledge and experience on to new puppy owners helping them to train the new member of their family.

Instructor - Sandra Keane

Sandra started in our puppy class over 15 years ago with her black Labrador Ted and now is an integral part of running the club. She initially trained to become an instructor by helping myself with classes and now takes her own within the club giving great help with training and advice.

In the last 15 years Sandra has had Ted and Riley, both black Labradors and now has a new black Labrador, Finley. He was born January 2020 and is related to both Ted and Riley. He has turned into a lovely dog and seems to have the best bits of both Sandra's previous dogs. He has now gained his Bronze, Silver and KC Gold Awards.

In August 2022, Sandra attended a week long residential dog instructors course to give herself a formal qualification in dog training. She was successful in gaining her award and is now an Affiliate of The British Institute of Professional Dog Trainers.

Instructor in training - Lawrie Rogerson-Wynne

Lawrie arrived at the club around 8 years ago with a good natured German Shepherd pup who had no knowledge as to what was acceptable behaviour or how to be a Good Citizen in human society. Lawrie worked hard with the information she gained at the club and with training they gained their Kennel Club Gold Good Citizen Award. During the last 8 years Lawrie has got married and now has two young daughters. Griffin is a valued member of their family and a delight to live with. Sadly Lawrie lost Griffin very suddenly in July aged 9. He is missed by the whole family.
